Ladder at the Mill-Bannack, Montana-May 24th, 2012-f/4.0-1/80-ISO 3200-Canon Rebel T3i
This is one of my favorite pictures that was taken on the trip. It was taken at the mill. For this picture, I sharpened the ladder that’s in the foreground. I also darkened the image a little from the original one, and added more contrast, saturation, and vibrancy, to make the image look better, and have the ladder in the foreground pop out more.
Hotel Meade-Bannack, Montana-May 24th, 2012-f/5.6-1/3200-ISO 3200-Canon Rebel T3i
I really like this picture as well. All I did to this picture, was make it black and white, and highlighted the words, “Hotel Meade,” on the front of the building, which made it stand out more. The thing that I like about this picture, is that there are quite a few things to look at, but the brightest thing in the picture is the title of the building, which draws your attention to it.
Grave-Bannack, Montana-May 24th, 2012-f/4.0-1/800-ISO 1600-Canon Rebel T3i
This is another picture that I thought was really cool to take. I took it at the graveyard that we went to as we were headed home. I didn’t add any edits to this photo either. All I did was make it sepia, which I thought was really cool, especially adding it to this picture, which made it look slightly more creepy.

For this picture, I bumped up the vibrancy and saturation. I also sharpened her eyes, and added more blue to them, which I thought was really cool, especially with the door in the background, which is a shade of blue as well. I also sharpened her hair and face, which added more to the picture, because it made her stand out a little more.

This padlock, was hanging on one of the doors to the buildings, which are normally locked. I saw this and didn’t think much of it, but just took the picture and didn’t think anything about it. Then as I was editing it, I realized that it could look a lot better than it did when it came out of the camera. For this picture, I sharpened the actual padlock, which I thought made it look better, and helps draw your attention to it. I also added vibrancy and saturation to it, which made the wood look darker and the picture as a whole look better.
